anyone know where i can order one from, not bothered if there legal or not.
-
You ought to still be able to get one from your local motor-spares shop, failing that a caravan/trailer emporium.
-
A lot of places don't sell them any more due to the changes in legislation last year. (production of a V5, retailers name on the plates, etc. etc)
-
Note the 'Disclaimer' (http://www.towsure.com/default.asp?d=40&t=106&p=0&op=)
-
It's also yellow ;-)
-
i have tried to get a white one but noone sell them, looks like its sorted now though.

Didn't notice the 'Front' bit.
Why not try one of those vehicle lettering/sign-writing shops?
They might cut you one to size?

Why not try one of those vehicle lettering/sign-writing shops?
Isnt the circulation of the font strictly controlled?
Otherwise anyone could make a sticky plate (come to think of it I could do with one)
edit> Its based on the 'Charles Wright' font which is probaly close enough for the authorities not to notice
-
I used to print up my own plates on the printer before, used on the trailer etc, had some old gold yellow paper a4, did the job and was never pulled, put the sheet in a clear plastic folder with a piece of card and either clipped or taped it to the required point
Mind you that was before the new legislation
-
Is there a particular reason you want stick on ones?
-
I can get them thorugh trade place.
Although it's not a numberplate, it's a sign... that just happens to look a bit like a plate

so i can sticck it on my bonnet and forget about it, i am fed up with breaking them on the front of my rangie.
muddywed can supply me with a show plate ( not a number plate you understand )
-
If your Rangie is old enough you could get one of those black and silver pressed metal ones, there's a guy that does the shows that makes them, maybe you can get the modern ones made from pressed metal too.

Question guys:
If your Landy is old enough to allow the old black & silver plates and you tow a modern caravan are you required by law to fit reflective modern style plates to caravan or can you fit black & silver plates to van?
-
If the vehicle can legally have none reflective plates then so can any
trailers towed behind it.

thanks Paul :D
