 :D
just been out fitting my light bar, when i felt that cold, but not thouroughly wet sensation on my neck... after looking at the street light i can confirm... very light, but definatley snow!!!!
i was going to tackle the interior (rebuild following weekends welding) but think i`m going to sit looking at the streetlight, hoping it gets thick!
Durham area... weather shows big wet thingy coming from the north... fingers and toes crossed!
-
I'm praying for it as i've had my Terrano a year now & never played in the snow with it yet as I did'nt get any    I'm 10 miles north os Newcastle & we've just had a sleet/rain shower  but my mate up in Selkirk says it's coming down like nothing at the min up there but a bit on the wet side
-
hopes melted... its gone to sleet/rain.... although i might just head up the hill for a looksy (tow law - last snow had 6 inch, we had a damp half inch!)
i`m going to open the back door, and point the fridge outside.. my bit for global cooling!
fingers crossed the temp drops a bit overnight.. might get a dusting :)

I hate snow.... I hate snow.... I HATE SNOW :x
Here is hoping you northern guys keep it in your area

Snow? Yes please! The more the better!
I went up to the Elan Valley in the last lot we had, to take a few photos and practise my snow driving (ok, have a play). Was happily trundling through the 10in deep snow when I found the rather bizarre sight of a Mazda MX-5. He'd been fine right up until he met a farm truck coming the other way and got stuck while trying to get past it. Farmer and I set to and pushed/dug him out then watched as he reversed for about a mile back to the cleared roads. The daft bit was that he'd have seen how bad it was before leaving the cleared bits, so anyone's guess why he carried on in a 2wd roadster!

I think most of us would be more than happy if we could
It's back to rain again here, but I would think Tow law will be one of the 1st places to get a covering, that & consett oh & otterburn

i think we had a flurrie last year around this time.. then not much til jan... i remember one year having it in june!!(at a farm in t`hills down west yorks!)

A good few years back I clearly remember snow all up the East coast from Essex to Inverness, at times it was 12" deep. Whilst in the fire brigade a few colleagues and I did an event for BBC Children in Need which involved driving all over the UK. Jeez it was cold :?
I have known it to snow down here in April and others tell me it has snowed in June, but I regard this as a myth
-
I was thinking its about right for it.
1degree this morning and it was 3 and falling on the way home.
-
i recall heavy snow in april '81 (i think)...cos i was at a motorbike rally near stratford upon avon that weekend ....i ended up in bromsgrove hospital on sunday morning suffering from hypothermia ......my first ride in an ambulance and was not aware of it l0l.
oh and the rally ....it was called THE APRIL SHOWERS RALLY
-
Twas -1 this morning up in t'hills of Huddersfield. Going to be a chilly one again tonight, me thinks. Better dig my hot water bottle out!
-
I love snow!
The first green lane trip out I ever did was not really that green 5 inches of fun filled snow! That me number 2 in line.
-
There was also the od icey puddle.
It was a fun day!
-
well its ppersisting it down up here... seems to have warmed up out there (mores the pity!)
...and can i just raise the subject of "its too cold to snow"
[Edited]??!?! its about -50 in the north pole... what does it do....snow!
around -10 and more in moscow - yep, loads of snow
quebaec? - i hear -40 is a reallity! and if our geography teacher is right, they retreat underground so they are warm and can move around because of.. yep... snow!
yes the pressure could be wrong, forcing all the little flakes to rise up into the clouds, and it could be too warm.. and down comes the rain... but please.. too cold for snow?!! (rude word) off!!
....sorry, rant over, had to get that one out after biting my tongue whilst talking to someone today....!
-
8th of june 1991 we had snow in north wales ...
and hail and sleet and rain and high winds,,,,
it was my wedding day
we had to park a coach across the doors of the barn we were having the party in to shield the bar from the wind

It snowed on my sister's birthday BBQ once (a long time ago) 11 July  had to move all the BBQ stuff inside and it caused a little fuss, as everything had to be fryed instead... lmao
Also got a pic somewhere of me in a home built snow egloo in Brynamman (about 7 years ago) had a massive door and a window in it lol
