we had some trouble on wed night when a father of a child and 2 of his big brothers stopped the local sevice bus with their car and tried to get my son whose 15 off the bus twice , luckily the bus driver would not let him get off, so they decided to deliberately drive the car at our Matt spinning him round fortunately he ok he just banged his knee. rang police 2 times and still no show last night i went to fetch my 12 and 15 year old from school and he was there in his car being all smamry and sticking his finger up at me something snapped inside of me and at the point of seeing his finger i reversed the range rover and drove forward and took his wing mirror off saying to him 'take that as a warning come near my kids again and this heap will be sat where you are on your seat'
whilst typing this police just rang
funny enough his kid wernt at school ive been to see head master told him and the police what i done, so got to see what happens next
can't believe i called her a heap and i can't believe i did this i leave things to the right channels normally

nice one if it was my girl. they was doing that to beleave i would put him in a wheel chair :D
-
Everyone has a breaking point don't feel guilty. They asked for it, you only damaged a wing mirror its inanimate and can be fixed.
-
Shame you didn’t use the vehicle in your avitar!!!! :D :D :D :D
-
The only bad thing you did mate was call your truck a heap
Cheers Gav
-
cheers for the votes of confidence
in the phone call to the police i told them what id done and all he said was,it was your child but i need you to do something for me f you have any more grief please dial the 3 9's as this is going to be fully investigated and he is being arrested for assault
still worried about what i did as i didn't think i would actually do anything like that

Fair play to you, i think any mother or father would do the same.
Did the <edit> (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=42831) sorry father of the child give any reason for his actions?
-
his 11 year old says my 15 year old had hit him!!! but my son and 5 other boys have given their names to the police and said he has not done anything to him !!!! but instead of ringing or going into school they did this and to be fair the school acts very quickly and effectively on bullying issues they even take things out of your hands and phone the police if you don't so they really have no excuse
-
this is my 'heap' but i'd be gutted if she got wrecked
-
:) I am sure she knew you didn't mean it, she is a very pretty heap! I think you showed great restraint.
-
in answer to your question
my answer is
nothing wrong :D
to defend your kids is a given right be proud of your self that you care that much =D> =D> =D> =D>
hats off to you 8)

thanks guys my son was angry that one of his kids was calling me a female dog but i just replied to my son that im doing what any female dog will do and that is to protect their pups so really he complemented me!!!
-
Sticks & stones...just agree & laugh at them...they have nowhere to go with it :D
-
good on ya , any descent parent would do the same thing, hope you didnt scratch the rangy, hope it all sorts out o.k for you all. alan.....
-
I might have missunderstood this, but you're saying the other guy did the Satrski and Hutch on a bus, and then drove into what making it spin around?
I'm thinking here that the police will probably be more interested in what the bus driver says than either side in such a dispute.
I'm sorry to hear you got mixed up in it at all, but if they think the answer to alleged bullying is to gang up 3 to one on a child...........
And what's worse is it's the parents
-
good on you deb. if it were me and a> I had kids and b> it was me in that situation I'd have probably put a tyre iron where his windscreen / head was. but I'd have also got done for that too, but as the saying goes: **** happens.
-
he pulled in to stop the bus but the driver is giving a statement too soo i think it will get sorted

Independent whitness is always good...
Just remember that these people probably do not care about having a visit from the Police and probably don't care about the result either.
So be careful not to find yourself being pushed to react in a way that might get you in trouble.
However it sounds like the local Plod know who these numpties are and are looking for an excuse to lock them up!
-
Good on you Debbie, getting that mad can lead to an even greater over reaction. It would have done had it been me, don't feel guilty and good luck.

police rang up last week and are coming on sun evening to interview my sons, i been warned that they did put a complaint in about me and the rrc but withdrew it as they were frightened of any repercussions, we've been told by a couple of people that after altering/withdrawing an allegation they can't start it off again, does anybody know if that is true, i cant help but think the police officer thinks its too much bother as there is potentally a lot of witness, and in his word 'there is a lot of work to do on this case!!!!!' probally why he hoped it would fizzle out as he said

My advice, for what it is worth, would be to insist that it is investigated fully and get every allegation from all parties involved out in the open. Then the problem can be seen to the fullest extent.
It is not impossible for someone to withdraw an allegation and then remake it, but if I was in that officers position, I would be asking the following questions:
1) Why are they doing that?
2) What do they hope to gain? The answer to that would be to try an intimidate you.
3) How much weight evidentially would I put on someone's word who can't make up their minds about making an allegation.
4) How much credibility do I put on someone who has alledegedly put their car across the road in front of a bus, and as an adult threatened a minor. If they had a genuine reason for complaint, they should have gone to the Police first, instead of taking the law into their hands.
Speaking on a personal level, the guy involved would appear to be a typical bullying big headed, small brained scrote, who I would take great pleasure in making his life a misery. Not through Police harrasement, you understand, just good old fashioned Policing. :police:

thanks for that, i've told the police officer that even if i do hget cautioned for it i don't care as i feel that my sons lives were threatened not just one but all 3 and i feel that he his getting away with it, but he did put my mind at ease when he told my what would happen when he had seen my sons and if we had any more trouble from them, just to be safe i did tell the school where i work about the possible charge and they said it wouldn't alter my job or hold it against me [-o<

Sounds a fairly 'good result' to me. I dare say the 'opposition' will be 'strongly advised' not to attempt to intimidate you any more, for the simple fact is that if you and the lads are witnesses, it then takes it into the realms of attempting to pervert the course of justice, which is a very heavy thing to get involved with, and can tend to spoil their day for some considerable time, if you catch my drift.
Best of luck with it.
Keep safe all,

I presume its the haulage company that messing you about not so much the driver?
Its a chame that you still feel nervous when being passed by a large vehicle ain't it? ;)

thats a different issue the caravan and lorry incident happened on the friday as the car/bus/kids thing happened on the wednesday, just feel that all we've done is call the police last year
debbie
-
Ahhhh, see, hobbit just barged into the topic with prior knowledge. A scheme deviously deviced to make the rest of us feel like idiots.
BTW, Debs, if it is any consolation, I do believe you showed a good deal of restraint. Had that moron (or any of the many like him) threatened my daughter, I would probably be sitting in court, explaining
"Your honor, I swear I can't understand how my foot could slip from the clutch like that.
...
Well, I panicked, and my other foot got jammed against the accelerator...
...
You mean I was doing 40 when I rammed him?? Gee, I never thought my landy could accelerate so fast."
Either that, or I would be on a ABH charge.
-
Good for you hope they get whats coming to um.
I hate bullys .You did the right thing because you have made a stand .Most people nowadays are to frightened to do what you did some hands up to you and good luck with it.
Did i say i hate bullys!
-
 mad to think how things can turn out.. if i told my dad someone was picking on me, i`d get told off for been soft!
nice shot on the wing mirror tho, i`ve tried with a few of those "lesser gifted drivers" but either they spot my plan, or i miss totally.. need a big bull bar i think!
All the best, and i`ll say from what you`ve said, sounds like your not in the wrong, theres two sides to every story etc, but judges usually see the side of women and children first ;)
-
i've also been told they think he his still out on bail for something else, think thats what he means by repercussions!!!!!! but he did what he did and needs to be stopped
-
police came on Monday, the guy is being arrested on Sunday, when he rang me up to keep me informed he told me the other guy had been into school about my son and his friend intimidating his son!!! i spoke to the headmaster the night before who said 'there has been nothing at all since that Wednesday.'!!!!! the police officer was well surprised to say the least
see what happens next
