Title: interior lights

i have ripped the roof lining out as it was covered in damp meldew from the water leaking in via the boot floor, i am interested in putting in some uprated interior lights does anyone have any ideas or suggestions or what theyve done themselves? pics please if poss

PUT IN A BRIGHTER BULB, OR FIT A STIPLIGHT IF YOU NEED THAT MUCH LIGHT.

was thinking of putting couple neon strip light they use for under car as the bulbs i have now are pathetic

I have a 12 volt twin strip tube mounted on a bracket above the rear view mirror plus the cable wraps up behind it so when you take it out the bracket it will work anywere around the disco. easy to do as well as i took the live feed from the interior light.

the front isnt so much a problem the rear is the biggest problem its just too dark as i do a bit of off roadinbg night time and furriging around for toolls and strops etc with a interior light not even as bright as a candle is impossible heres the kind of bulb im going to replace the front with and im gonna give a pair of neon strip lights for the rear a go
the top one 37mm is the correct length

you can run a cable in the headlining down to the back from your front light, and install a striplight, its tonns better when ferreting about in the boot at night!

There are some good led strip lights on eblag nowadays, fairly cheap

I have twin rear work lights that bend down and will light the boot up for that  :wink:
