i have a 93 vouge se 3.9 and it wont start any ideas will be very helpful
come home yesterday perfect but nothing now

its got spark at leads ??
could it be coolant temp sensor

So it's cranking? you have a spark.

Fuel then, is the pump running?  I had that once, drove home on LPG, tried to start on petrol, nothing.  Wire to tank had snapped off-road :roll:

even if a temp sensor had gone you should get something.

yes drove home on lpg perfect i have spark but i even put some easy start in the air box but still nothing lol
i,ll have a listen to the fuel pump or were is the pump relay ???

replaced coolant temp sensor and ew set of plugs and it goes but if i sit at a roundabout then i try pull away it holds back and after a bit it launches you like a rocket lol
any ideas

Hmmm, one of th other sensors, perhaps the throttle position or MAF, so it doesn't notice the throttle opening until the revs pick up.

Do you have the Haynes manual, if so then in the suppliment it tell you how to test all the sensors with a multimeter.

This sounds like mine which turned out to be the distributor cap.  I got a spark, but it was weak and gave the same symptoms as yours.  Have a look under the cap to see if the contacts or the rotor arm are worn.  If you decide to replace, then don't by cheap ones, always get genuine items.  Cheap ones are worthless on the Rover V8
