Having not bought LROi for a while I was somewhat shocked and stunned to find on page 241 advertisements for certain 0909 numbers more akin to the the Sport or the top shelf magazines..... If I had kids I would certainly not like them to be picking up this copy with out ripping out the offending item....
Have they been doing this for a while???
Is there any need for this or is emap seriously that cash strapped that they must this sort of thing in the magazine......
An email is off to the editor, god I must be getting old...

There was another thread about this a few weeks ago. Apparently it was a mistake by Emap..... unsure how you can quiet make a mistake like that.
Definatly the first time ive seen anything like that in LRO

There was a post about this on their own forum by the editor - apparently Emap advertising people did it without his knowledge and he was just as annoyed to see the adverts as anyone else. An assurance was given that those responsible had been dealt with and it wouldn't happen again.

Still in final proof stage with all advertisements in it shouldnt have been missed... blaming emap (scapegoat) - sorry yeh whatever......NUMPTYS !!!!!!!!!!!!

AFAIK this has happened in a recent issue of practical classics too. needless to say they are not amused either.
On a lighter note Pg 76 features a certain MC member.

I was not too impressed when my daughter (who had grabbed the mag before me) asked why grannies would be putting their numbers in the back of LRO.
Needless to say, an email was sent and an apology was received.

Who's on P76 then?
