Title: Discovery 5 door arches
Post by: Chris Putt on November 27, 2007, 19:22:03
Looking at fitting Bigger tyres in the next couple of months witha  40mm lift, so will definitely need to trim the arches. I have seen a couple of discos with 90 arches put on, is this possible with a 5 door or only with a 3 door shell?

If not what are my alternatives (needs to be relatively inexpensive)?

Was also looking at a set of the plastic arch trims, as I thought these may offer a neat way od being able to trim without looking tatty!!

Your thoughts would be valued

Chris

Those Roccia ones look good, I've heard good things about them.  Not surprisingly they are made by a fellow member

mine has the later shape rubbery jobs on... ronseal situation, but they give a bit of girth where you could possibly screw in some flat plastic type jobby.. IMO looks messy, but cheap and cheerful nevertheless.....

..chances are they will fall victim to some boulder/tree/bit of wildlife at some point anyway....
