				Im probally selling both my cars and getting a freelander for a while,i would like a 3 door or commercial, mainly for looks and we dont have  any exess passengers to cart around,  I am aware if the k series issues, but would like a diesel ? Am i hoping for too much ??  Had a looky on e-blag ect, but not too much exiting that i could see

				Don't do it it's not just the engine  thats a problem. There's also VCU, IRD Cracking chassis and a dozen other major transmission/electrical/structural faults. Stick with a RR Disco or 90/110.

Well, all I can say is we've had 2 Freelanders and only one electrical fault that cost about £20 to solve. We do about 12k miles a year, mostly road, but also around our fields.

				Not too sure about the earlier Freelanders, though I use mine daily and travel the length and breadth of the UK, and when I have the time makes a great little green laning machine :D
