One of the little 8mm bolts that holds the oil seal on the back has snapped of due to excess rust in the swivel housing... :(
Its one of the bottom ones aswell.. Bloody things
Anyone got any experience of getting such a small bolt out?

I use a mig welder to build up the broken bit then weld a nut on. With the heat it usually comes out.....
Or you could try easy outs, I personally dont like them.
Or plan "C" drill it and tap a new hole.

Hmm...I'd go the easi out route as I doubt there is enough to weld too? Drill it, heat it & use easi out
Good luck

Well Welding didnt work... :(
I'm going to attempt to drill it out using a pillar drill for greater accuracy as the blooming hole is small....
Do you think they will be tap-able if i mangle the thread in the process?

Use a left handed drill bit to drill out...it may come out with heat build up :D
-
I'd drill it out and re-tap - if it didn't work out too well I'd either drill a bigger hole and use a larger tap - or even drill another hole slightly to the side through the retainer and swivel, I reckon it will still seal just as well.

Or plan B, find a good S/H swivel. Which side is it?
-
Passenger Side.....
Know anywhere?

Or heli-coil it  if needed. Little expensive for one off tho'

managed to blag a pillar drill for 10 mins, so i drilled it out and tapped it.
Just need some light now to put it back together again :)
