We're planning a trip to France in the Landy next year, what's this about no LPG? Could make it expensive going in the V8.

Post by: Disco Matt on December 17, 2007, 19:02:04: Eurotunnel won't allow cars with LPG tanks on board (presumably even empty) - it took them ages to accept caravans with gas cylinders. I think you can get LPG in France though - try http://stations.gpl.online.fr/appli/index.php

I think you will need an adaptor to use the pumps - ask your local LPG dealer.
I have a Euro filler with UK adapter and have been asked by our european friends if they could use it to fill up :wink:

I once decided on a friday i wated to go on the saturday.

I could have gone, but it was Â£290 :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock:

Looks like I'll have to be on a ferry then, makes it seem more of a holiday though.

Post by: Disco Matt on December 18, 2007, 09:42:30: I think Sea France were cheapest last time I looked - Norfolkline are excellent but their prices have gone up noticably (guess they're paying for their three new ships). Brittany Ferries require a second mortgage!

Post by: waveydavey on December 18, 2007, 09:45:21: Go for the ferry; with the ferry you get an hours break and can get food etc. TO do that on the tunnel means 30 Min's with the car on the train then stop for another hour.
