Used it in just about every LR engine up to TD5 with no problems ever - it is only a temp fix though so be prepared for it to fail again if pushed hard.

wondaweld is used in the trade a lot for head gaskets ... top stuff for water leaks and does a permanemt fix, halfrauds block repairer seems just as good.. and looks the same

Just a thought, I put a post on here about my "Gurgling Disco". Heater matrix looks like its stuffed, gurgles from heater matrix/pipes on a morning after starting and there's coolant in the footwells.

See http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=52692

As you can imagine its pretty cold in this Disco at 05.00am on a morning!! Now as a tempory measure I wonder if anybody has used any of these products to seal a heater matrix???

Looks like it could be a major job sorting this heater out and would prefer warmer weather while pulling it to bits.

i used k seal on a e34 for a leaky matrix, and on a volvo 760 v6 for head gasket. nothing else would touch it, and its a perm fix.

its best to replace the broken bit, but my only comment is avoid the sachet stuff, i imagine dropping an egg into the rad would have given a better result
