Just wondered how many other people on here are doing this years mac? I am the new team 15, someone dropped out and we were on the reserve list!
Never done one before, both pretty bad at map reading and the landy failed its MOT this morning! We are doing it in a 20 year old 110 2! Should be interesting, I cant wait!
So who else is doing it? Any tips? :D
Cheers,
Mike

Bluestone wanderer is doing it as "Team Tegryn" he's on here occasionally, but usually on the Discovery Owners Club
Good luck, I hope you get lots for the Macmillan charity!

One of seven from BOFA4x4 that are taking part in 2008. Tis good fun and a cracking weekend. Some take it seriously as a competition others jsut go out and enjoy it for the fun side of things.
Either way, by the Sunday night you're glad of a warm bed and a cold beer (or three) :D

That's just the point, you don't know where you're going or how far?
It's a navigational road-rally in the style of the old RAC ones.
There are on & off-road sections.
Unfortunately this year was changed at very short notice due to a fatal accident in the New Forest, it would have been inappropriate to continue the event there. The organisers did a good job imho, but if we'd known beforehand it would have been better.
Only did Shropshire/Wales, but the year before they went to Ireland!
