We had 12 for dinner Christmas day everyone mucked in and it went very well.
Boxing day we had 22 including kids, we had a buffet they all had to bring something so it made things easier and we used paper plates to cut down on the washing up.
I have to say my wife and I are worn out as we also had people staying, they have gone today and we are enjoying the quiet. :D I don't think we will do 2 days like that again.
Been to the recycling today with all the paper, cardboard, cans and bottles.
New Year we have nothing planned son and his girlfriend are coming round, a few drinks and Jools Holand on the TV.
Hope you all had a good Christmas :D

Twas quiet for us, only five of us for christmas dinner so very easy day and instead of trying to get things all cooked at once I made the meats two hours earlier giving me plenty of time and room in the oven for everything else........... it's only taken me 18 years to learn that  ah well better late than never I spose

We had a great day in our house. We had Pheasant this year. So no getting up at 5 am to put the turkey on.
Just the four of us for Dinner.
Then Boxing day we were told we could move into our new house. This is such a relief,as we have had the neighbours from hell for the last three years. Its made my wife ill, and we hate it here.
So to end on a good note. I got some lovely stuff, and the house was the icing on the cake. Oh and ive finally got a Garage. :)
Merry christmans and a happy New Year. :)

Not the best I've ever known. No Ma and Pa, RIP.
Family scattered to all four corners of the Globe, interspersed with periods at work, and add to that periods of despondency wondering where my life is going.
Do I stay where I am or do I 'jump ship'?
All combined with the thought that '08' is the year of the 'big 40'.
I feel that I have so much to do, but where do I start?
Time to kick myself up the arse and sort my life out!
Heres to a Great 08! ;)

Come on LSP, only 40 ! I wish I was 40 again.
Have some more children. My Daughter is 6 and had the best Christmas so far, just the right age.
I personally have no time for the consumerism of Christmas, but the time to spend with the family is worth the wait.
But now I have to wait to go back to work when somebody wants me. Oh well !!!

Christmas was dull.
Only got 2 days off, and ended up spending a high proportion of one of them putting up with a screaming baby.
Never having kids.
Ever.
