ok guys.... got a td5 that runs ruff when started, has a slight miss every so often, and doesnt seem to be as pokey as my bro's......
so I thought I better check the loom into the ecu as suggested on here and sure enough, loads of oil in the plug. :x
So, where do I go from here, what is the best way to clean this lot up, and how do Istop it again, am I gonna need a new ECU ( I do hope not).
Cheers

Fit a new injector harness (about £40) - easy to do, unbolt the rocker cover, unclip/unplug the old harness and fit the new one - making sure that the plugs latch correctly on each injector (another cause of problems).
Then just give both sides (i.e harness and ecu) of the red plug a good clean in electrical cleaner - you will have to repeat this a few times!!!
Using a thin flat blade screwdriver (or just your nail) you can unclip the white internal section of the red plug to give you better access to the terminals.
Normally this cures the problem.....

Blimey, if I'd known it was that easy I'd have done it myself (both times)...
