I am a little concerned, and to be honest narked...... Both toys have these tyres, the Zuke wears 195r15 Colway C-Trax done about 1,000 miles and the Fourtrak wears 30.10.5x15 Macho's, the Macho's were fitted in April 07 and the C-Trax in About April 06.....
What happens if I rip one.....
Should I try and source one, or a pair of each now, assuming there are some.....
What would you do......
I guess i should check Mr Sowden to see if there are any around.....
Kind of makes you nervous about "hitting it a little harder" knowing that if you rip a tyre, you'd probably have to replace at least 2.....
Anyone got any thoughts...?

Hey Fudge,
Same Here, I got my set about 1 month before the went bust. I would speak to Mark Sowden, however I figure we have to get something simular. I'm sure he could sort something else out.
But it is a bit worrying.
-
I am not overly concerned about the C-Trax, but the macho's....... I bought a full set at once, I guess theoretically the same could have happened if I'd have bought Bronco's or even BFG's although highly unlikely, just takes the edge off....
I guess, worst case, i'd have to replace all four (Macho's) and ebay the other two / three.....
Just it's a nice truck..... And I hate mixing normal tyres (I don't do it) mixing aggressive MT's must be worse....
-
sadly any company can fold. I think BFG will be safe though
there is nothing to stop you putting one tyre of the same size and construction type on, would be legal and you should be able to get a similar tread pattern.

Just read the post about FEDIMA tyres and googled FEDIMA TYRES
http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=fedima+tyres&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi
And found
MACHO's ~ Fedima Extreame http://www.kingoffroad.co.uk/ortyres.html
HAPPY NOW......

If you want a replacement for your macho's try Imsa Turbo Sahra they are the same tread pattern and only a couple of quid more then the macho's were.
-
Insa Sahara (http://www.insaturbo.com/e_neumaticos_terreno.html#) are similar as well.

if you buy any item from a company ( i take it u bought through a dealer not direct) then your statutory rights are with the dealer not the company, if there is a fault, the dealer is legally bound to replace or repair the fault, if another is not available than they will need to replace with a similar item of the same quality/value. This is regardless of whther the supplier (not the dealer) has gone bankrupt.
-
if there is a fault, the dealer is legally bound to replace or repair the fault,
But I am talking about damage, Punctures that can't be repaired.....
I now see there are loads of alternatives to the Macho's and I am now hapy again, and looking forward to showing those Green Oval Oil Leakers what a "Real" 4x4 can do..... :D without fear of a £350 tyre bill....

OY! I'll have you know my green oval doesn't leak oil ... the Discovery it's fitted to does though :D :D

At those prices I have the feeling that Colway are finished!
I am now torn between a set of Rangers or Dakars. I just wish they did Kumho 834's n a 235/70.
-
I'd buy 2 sets od KL71's tomorrow if they did the size.....
But.....
1. Tomorrow Is New Years Day.... ;D
&
2. They Dont! :-[ :'(
