Not much chance of it here in South Devon :(
-
If I've understood them properly, we in North Wales should get about 1cm on the highest ground. Not much need for a warning.
-

Is that because you've not got a proper motor :lipsrsealed:

Can it wait a bit? Only my car's going in for a new steering box tomorrow and I'd rather it didn't snow until the garage has finished!

Still none here - perfect conditions though, the ground is dry and it's cold.

-
No sign of snow here, it's just cold and windy!
-
Nothing here yet but according to the forcasts it's due to start anytime now. On the one hand I'm sure I'll end up disappointed but on the other hand I was n't stupid enough to cycle the 10 miles into work this morning.
I did mean to put a sleeping bag and some food in the car last night but forgot about it.
My eyes seem to keep getting drawn away from the keyboard towards the window.

Suddenly...............................................nothing happened!
Just got back from a shopping (yeah, I know, I'm domesticated. I'll start using the litter tray soon!), where I listened to all the people in the lines at the tills, and according to the all the gossip, we are in for some blizzards of Siberian proportions with polar bears due to drift into Portsmouth harbour on top of icebergs, and that was why they were all buying catering sized bags of salt, just in case the paths to their houses got blocked in by snow drifts!
I give up! A bit of cold and the mere mention of snow and the general populace goes mad!

Too true! Our supermarkets all sell out of bread/milk/etc even though deliveries are never held up for longer than a day or so. Then they all try to take their cars out and get wedged somewhere, causing the road to be closed...

I get the impression that you don't take this warning of global proportions seriously. Don't you realise that a flake or two of snow brings life to a halt :-. I mean, take a look on the tv news and it will show that people panic at the thought of snow and hoard provisions just in case they get snowed in  Others even panic enough to consider putting life saving clothing, sleeping bags and food in their cars  ;)
Well I am disappointed in you :-k really I am :embarrassed: I'm off now to fit the snow plough attachment to the front of my car and then the tyre chains and then go off to Tesco to buy 2 months worth of tinned and dry food 8-[

Keeps threatening to snow here. I see the occaisional flake flying around. I am poorly with man flu so I won't be able to take advantage of the snow if it does decide to show itself

Always wondered about that after living somewhere where it REALLY snows.
Only days I missed work due to snow was one morning the first year there when the snow was deeper than the car was tall (So got a ford ranger) And when I had an 'accident' with a jetwash. (Yes kids, do not wash the car the night before it drops to -20, you wont ever get the doors open).
At -40 and foot deep snbow its still business as usual. Yet here, I've seen a few snowflakes and I'll be theres already chaos.
