That's cos you can't reply, you can only PM the seller !
-
oh right... guess i am stupid, cheers
-
ads in the forsale bit get deleted after xx days, so i would imagine that its there to stop folk 'bumping' their thread to the top to give everyone a fair chance
-
Thats exactly right Mark,
The moderators were working flat out trying to keep the "For Sale" section in some sort of order, bumping wasn't allowed but folk still tried to do it, the other main reason the reply function was removed was so that folk couldn't make nasty or unhelpful comments about the items on sale. :)

whilst were on this am I thick can I sort of hi jack this thread and ask "am I thick too?"
Where is the function to watch a topic without posting a reply?
also
How do you select read all topics as I have a little bell by every topic back to the first ever one posted and I want to click on a button like in the old forum which says I have read them all so only new topics / replies from this moment onwards are shown.
Sorry for kinda hi jacking the thread :|
-
To watch a topic you click on the Notify tab at the top or bottom of each page.
The other one your looking for is Mark Read
(Please ask any further questions like this in the 'Question & Comments' area as per the forum announcement (http://www.mud-club.com/forum/index.php/topic,53044.msg483068.html#new)... That way questions won't go unanswered)
