anyway i have an unmodified 200 tdi, built on a range rover chassis and with a 300 engine.
a vibration has started in the last few day, when driving over say 30mph upwards.its comig from the front end, but only on acceleration, not when free wheeling or when iding and parked up.
any ideas?im puzzled

I'd be looking first at the front propshaft U/Js and splined shaft. You may have to remove the propshaft before you'll feel any play in the U/Js but first, chock the wheels, release the hand brake and then grab one of the U/J's and and try to move it up/down/left/right.
You are feeling for any play in the joint.
Then do the same with the other U/J and it may also be worth checking the rear propshaft U/Js while you're there.  ;)

thanks will do that as soon as i get a chance, luckily have a pair of spare props knocking around somewhere. think theres play in the back one too, as it has a bit of a clunk to it!
cheers

I'd look at the UJ's first too.

Your opening comment "I have an unmodified 200 tdi, built on a range rover chassis and with a 300 engine" makes me wonder what you would have to do to consider it to be "modified"
