Title: vitara 1600cc manual

my mate has one and want to make it a diesel he has a izzuzi lump 17td to go in but how and where do you get the converter plate to match up the box?
any help and advice please,

hi MG as far as i no there is no conversion plate for the vitara when used in the sj they use a carlton gearbox instead of the sj box this might be ur m8s best way round it
