Post by: J66P on January 05, 2008, 23:11:06
Hi, after a bit of advice

Have I seen somewhere that Vitara diffs are a lower ratio than an SJ413 and they will fit in the axles casings,

Advice before I do it please

Cheers

hi,my advice would be to swap the ring and pinions to vitara but keep the sj main diff hub as it has 4 sun gears compared to two in the vitara making it stronger for offroading.

My viv which has now gone to play in another area has a sammy front axle and standard viv axle on the rear. The viv difs were kept so yes the viv dif will fit the sammy axle with no modification needed. I hope I have been of some help.
