Odd as it may sound i have a friend in the outside world! Anyway my friend has i new 110 county pickup on order. What he wants to know is, does anyone or has anyone use Kumho kl71's in 305/70r16 on boost replica alloys? Are there issues with them fouling on body, steering or chassis. Also how effective are they in deep/bottomless mud?

they dont quite look agressive enough for deep mud, i should think like most mud terrains they will fill with mud in a few seconds and turn to slicks.

why the hell would he want to take a new landrover offroad? why not use an old 200tdi.

Because its what they were designed for?

My mate took a 57 plate 110 down the Gap road when it was 6 weeks old.

When it was 4 weeks old it had holes cut in the wings to fit the roll cage

Designed to get muddy :)
Its all about the size of the wallet!

Its a company car for the shoot he keepers on. Hence money less of a constraint than if it were a private buy.

You mean like taking a 2 month, 57 plate old Rangie Sport to a play day....
And finding out how deep the ruts are with your undercarriage...

Nice, i took my TD5 off road when she was new - its what they are for.
Back to the Khumo's - having seen them in action my BFG AT's perform better and they are no match to BFG muds.
