Another 2" of lift

Are you sure it's not lifted already?

When I had just +2" (and 235/85/16 BFG MTs), mine caught the rear of the rear arches driving on a level road with tiny bumps. Now I've got +4" it only catches when flexed.

I don't think my wheels would have even turned without any form of lift.

This photo has +4". See what I mean.

235/70/16 on standard springs. Obviously never touched.

235/85/16 on +2". Just a tiny bump on the road used to bring the tyre up to the arch.

If yours does not touch then that's a great (cheap) starting point.

Those are Defender sized tyres and are quite wide
That'll be why they are catching
Have you cut the rear part (Camel cut) of your arches yet?
If not, you might want to think about doing that soon with a 2" lift
