what do all the crazy numbers mean?
35.10.5x16,  35 inch diameter 10.5 inch width 16 inch wheel diameter
900x16,   (strictly 9.00) 9 inch width with 100% profile 16 inch diameter wheel So 34 inch diameter {9*2+16}
235/85x16, 235 millimeter width 85% profile 16 inch diameter wheel (profile is height of sidewall as a percentage of width) So 31.7 inch diameter {(235/25.4)*2+16}
750x16,
205x16, 205 millimeter width 80% (or possibly 82%) profile 16 inch wheel diameter
31.105x15,
215/80x15
some have /'s and x's and which is height, width etc etc?? :shock:
cheers

I think, from memory and open to be corrected

Have a look HERE (http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html) full details on tyres etc

Also use THIS (http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submit) to compare the different sizes

Have a read of this
http://pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/PR-TSLs/

Lots of good info on there, related specifically to 4x4 tyres

About 2/3rds the way down is a good break down of various tyre sizing systems.
