Range Rover Get your game keeper to do it
Range Rover sport If its dirty its time to sell and get a new Audi as you have been driving the same car for weeks now.
Discovery 3 Get your 7 Children to do it to pay for their violin lessons
Freelander Get those Polish people to do it that are at Tescos car park
Disco 2 High pressure jet wash on the outside
Defender High pressure jet wash on the inside
SeriesFor gods sake dont clean it, the muds all thats holding it together!
I hope I have offended everyone (who drives a landrover) to an equal amount!

What about Discovery 1?
-
What about Discovery 1?
Havent they all rusted away by now
-
No, they haven't.
-
Discovery 1 - Don't bother, by next week it'll be dirty again!
-
RRC.... wash the bodywork, being careful around the lower tailgate - it often comes apart attached to the sponge!
Don't pressure wash sills or inner arches, you'll make a hole.
And if its just used for offroading you can wash the inside just mind the stereo

I am really tempted to go off roading in my disco then get them to clean mine for me, but dont let them see the car before they do it. Just point to direction it is parked in!
-
disco 1 is same as series 3
-
I was thinking..... Disco 1...wash???
-
Mine only gets washed if I've been out in gloopy mud - trying to avoid rust!
-
Just wait for it to rain
-
Just wait for it to rain
Yes, but that doesn't get into the important bits underneath!

It just depends on how many, & how deep, the puddles are

I was thinking..... Disco 1...wash???
must admit i was thinking that as i havnt washed mine since the billing bash

I washed my series yesterday! First time in a long time. Good excuse though, went in for an MOT today - always a good idea to present a tidy looking vehicle for test I recon as it gives it a well maintained roadworthy air to it. It passed by the way, no advisorys.
Why would the mud be holding it together? Its a real landy, not a rot box defender!

id dont see the point in keeping half a ton of ........ on ur truck. pressure washers and electic buffer makes the job done easy. holes in metal work need attending to , the sooner its done the less work it is later.
now wheres that industial steam cleaner gone......
-
Washing is BAD. I don't wash so why should I do the same to my car ?
Plus what's electic butter ?

There are some questions in life best not answered. :-$
Personally I don't care too much for the cosmetic body work its the underside I care about, which does get cleaned thoroughly most times after getting muddy.

My avatar shows how to wash a disco 1....

just wait for torrential rain / standing water on the motorway....my rangie is nice and clean since i came back up the M40 earlier!
