Title: Wading on the roads
Post by: clbarclay on January 11, 2008, 19:50:38
Just driven home on the A422, first quantity of water on the road was just west of alcester, there is water right across the junction at the bottom of the lane and A422. When you can't see the light from your headlights anymore you know its deep  Its only that deep if you want to drive up the lane but there are a few cars stopped and giving the puddle second thoughts.

Anybody else been wading on the roads today?

Drove from Cornwall to Stroud last night, no problems till stroud when the main road was flooded as per usual.  Still no probs for me then up to Rodborough common to see the snow!

Unfortunately my offices are in a mill on a river so im off there now to check its not soggy (no problem as the kits all upstairs!)

If you play in roads beware lifted man hole covers (sorry person hole for the Politically correct)

You should be fine, avoid any fords as the rivers are full. Most of the bad flash flooding has subsided. however I believe the is more rain on the way.
