Title: Santana Vit, VS Jap Vit, VS SA Vit
Post by: Evilgoat on January 14, 2008, 11:41:41
Been trawling round the scrapyards of late, specially after my cluitch pedal fell off and I think I've spotted a trend.

Every Rotbox vit I've looked at seems to be a Jap one with the Santanas being intact. Not even seen one of the American ones.

So are the Satanas better built? Anyone else spotted this?

Mine is a spainsh built model.Really the only rot seem's to be the wings..

Suzuki main dealer informed me certain parts are going to be a little more expensive than those of a jap vit..

the best way to way to see what you got is the color of the vin plate,

blue is jap

silver is Spanish

hope that helps ;)

I have got a spansh built vit and rear inner arches were none existent. Up here in stoke it seems to be the other way round in the scrap yard - the spanish ones are rotten as pears and the jap ones are solid as rocks so i guess it just depends how it has spent its life
see ya mate
