Last year I was able to wash off the chassis and liberally coat it with waxoyl but as soon as the spring comes I want to do a more thorough job. My 300tdi is ok at the moment but I want to keep it that way.
What I`m asking is what is the best procedure for protecting inside the structure of the Bulkhead and chassis ? I have seen a picture of one guys bulkhead who had holes drilled and grommets fitted just under the corners of his windscreen to apparently enable the regular application of rust killer etc.
So lads ...... whats the best way of rustproofing the chassis and bulkhead on the inside ?
All constructive views appreciated ..........

Pressure wash the bulkhead as much as possible.
Remove the top screw from door hinges & squirt in waxoyl :P
Chassis is the same...pressure wash & re wash until the water runs clear then squirt in waxoyl through all drain holes & front dumb irons.
Enjoy...

If you want to make a good job of waxoiling the inside of the chassis & bulkhead, you'll need a compressor powered injection gun with extension tube. Something like THIS (http://www.justoffbase.co.uk/Schutz-Gun-Kit-Disposable-Heads-Sealey-SG14D)
Do it on a warm day & pre-warm the wax so it will flow well into all those nooks & crannies.

I really wish I'd waxoiled my bulkhead when I bought my motor about four years ago:

I've just had to replace the whole thing as the rot was that bad.
Needless to say, it's had a good blasting with the injection gun before the new one went on.
