Have you in you're off road driving managed to either pop a tyre bead or slice a sidewall?
Only i have never done so whilst off road and only once on road have i managed to slice a tyre since i started behind the wheel aged 4.
And yet to hear folk talk it seems to be a weekly thing.
Am i not trying hard enough?

in one visit to an offroad site i managed to put a big dent in the front diff pan and pinched a tyre on a really awkward spot
not really had a good day considering i had bought and got delivered them QT diff guards to put on but couldnt be bothered to fit the day before
:P

I have yet to damage one of my tyres let alone anything else off-road. The worst I have done was scratch the paintwork on some roots and bushes. See, Series motors are proper 'ard!

Never popped a bead, but laning last weekend I had a branch through the tread :'( Had to change to my spare which is a road tyre until I could get it fixed. Cost me £10! for a tube!

I have never done it that bad but at least 4 times I have got mud in between the rim and the tyre so it gives the tyre a slow puncture
when this happens I just put my hi lift on the flat tyre wall and jack the disco up so it pushes the wall away from rim a bit more, get the hose out on jet setting and blast the mud out. Pump up, soapy water on the beeding and see if it needs doing again.
Saves me so much money instead of tyre places taking whole rim off and rebalance  :D

yea had to clean the wheel then used bin bags to wrap around the wheel to seal it so we could re inflate it. as no one had any lighter fuel handy to do the iclandic trick

Ive never pops or punctured a tyre on any vehicle I've owned but my ex-wife used to.
Once a mouth and usually four tyres at a time ouch!

this happens to mine too , very regularly - I get my beadbreaker and tyre levers and whack the tyre off the bead , clean it then pump it up again
