saw same thing on BBC and thought here we go again. However I wonder if we are getting a little paranoid. We seem to be the group activley tryingto find alternatives and as a result find articles and views like this really pinch.I personally will be continuing to use bio not least cos it's 30p a litre cheaper. A tree hugger I am not

i use dinosaur and dead vegetation in my engine. thats bad too it seems. you will never win.

Apparently transopt now produces one quarter of CO2 emissions agin, so I don't trust any of their reporting.
Plus they say that biofuels from waste oil are years away? my behind they are. Far from threatening food supply security in developing worlds and increasing the price of food in our supermarkets, I think the fact that waste veg oil now has a value it should reduce the cost of making the fatty fried foods we keep being told are bad for us anyway.

I'm fairly sure that anyone in downing street is unlikely to lose particularly badly though :D

They are doing it enough to affect the price of grain, its now back up to about the same £ per ton that it was in the early 1990's, thanks partly to the yanks turning a lot of corn into ethanol.
Not that it has much affect on the price Mr tesco, sainsburys et al charge
-
That reminds me, I must dig out the forms DEFRA sent me so they can pay me NOT to do anything with my 5acres of grass.

That's no good I'm afraid...... Llamas are proven to burp more co2 than cows so combined with the other end they polute more than a Hummer  Oh, and they eat grass, so beloved of our green friends!

I'm thinking of counterclockwise lesser spotted wild mountain haggis wee, bound to be something combustible in that.

Ahh, that was the less lesser spotted wild tree haggis, which as we all know results in the cross breeding of the fallen clockwise and counterclockwise mountain haggis. You can tell the difference because :
a) they have a slightly thicker hide, which is probably what allowed their parents to survive falling off the mountain.
b) both the left and right legs are of similar length as a result of the interbreeding
c) whilst less common, they're less lesser spotted as living in the lowland areas they're not as far away and easier to see.

Nah.... you can only get Bee Pee from there
This is nectar coloured and costs a fortune due to the danger of getting stung during the harvesting process.
