oh the joys of a broken clutch deep in darkest wales over christmas. i remember it well! as ever mick came to my rescue, and after a lesson in driving without the clutch i delivered it to his workshop and in less than 8 hours i was driving home. towing my digger has never been so easy.

Well we went do a couple of lanes sunday one of them being tenterhill . Well ended up with a heavy clutch and slipping at load. So got back and ripped the box out, got the clutch monday morning refitted the gearbox. Did the job by my self on wheel ramps 10 hours without spiltting the boxes.Went laning last night. :P :P

thats not a bad price as most prices ive ever got start at 350, and thats from the nationwide major bodge it outfit, and it soon goes up to nearly 450 at a lot of places.

I found it easier to remove the engine from my 200tdi rather than faf about underneath with the gearbox..... i have a hoist which helps, but gearbox's are too heavy to be laying on the floor with...!!
-
i done mine on my own in 8 hours,,,put my engine hoist thru the door :D ....was not very easy but cheaper than a garage .lol .at garage prices would be cheaper do buy a hoist and do it yas elf
