Head Gasket blown on my 300tdi discovery, i have changed gasket but it seems to be blowing still, i'm assuming it needs to be skimmed, can anybody tell me what head gasket will i need if the original gasket was the one with 3 holes to the side of the gasket or would i be wasting my time getting it skimmed & would need to replace head!

if you had a 3 holer on it then go for another 3 holer - its the thickest one anyway.
if you didnt skim the head last time then try it , unless there are any other obvious defects. there is a chap around here that does them for £40, if you want the details pm me.

Actually, the thickest head gasket is the no-holer but I agree with your assessment of using whatever was on there before

I would reccomend a crack test too - they are a bit prone to this.
