To all computor wizards out there.
I am trying to link up my camcorder to download stuff onto the poota. The programme that came with it is installed, but when I try to start working with it, the poota honks at me and tells me I need to install Macromedia Flash Player.
I search the Interweb for Macromedia Flash, find it, install it, go to start it and the Poota honks at me, tells me to install Macromedia Flash, repeat repeat etc etc.
Any ideas? All answers accepted, but please remember that I have very little knowledge of this sort of techy stuff and am very easily confused.
Cheers

Mike, i dont think you were too far off the point though!
Iirc you do need to reboot after installing flash player!

It's worth trying a differnet program as well.
Look for Windows Movie Maker, open that, plug in the camcorder and see if it recognises it. It's easy to follow the prompts, and easy to use.
OK it's not the most powerful but it does the job and you can take all the extras off the computer to free up more space.

I'd second the suggestion of Windows Movie Maker. I don't like MS products much but it does the job, can be a bit stroppy on occasion (it didn't like my telling it to store captured footage on a hard disk other than the one it's installed on) but hey, it came with Windows and doesn't cost me any more!
