Title: bulkhead removal bar
Post by: blackbeltbob on February 04, 2008, 13:31:52
chaps

i am thinking of removing my bulkhead and fitting one of the bars you see advertised for this job. Has anyone done it and if so how much further back can you push your seat?
i imagine i will need longer seat runners as well.
is this a good idea or not worth the hassle?
i will also be fitting new bucket seats

The simplest way is to raise the seat on Box section steel which allows the seats to go past the raised lip, on the seat box. I think you gain another 3 or 4 inches.

seen the Mud UK ones and they do the longer runners. Just need the buckets seats and ones that can be heated for SWMBO....
