Always check your pockets BEFORE washing your clothes! Otherwise, you might find yourself £20 down!!!!

If it's still vaguely recognisable http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/damaged_banknotes.htm may be of use to you

How the hell did you manage that one???
-
Money laundering eh? You is all very naughty, and I shall be speaking to my superiors! :police:
-
I learnt that lesson the hard way, but not with money...
with my Counterpart Driving License!!
fortunatly it was in the plastic wallet so was protected, amazingly once it dried out fully it was as good as new, not the best way to try and clean up your license... :police:
-
The other half did this with my debit card, even with it being a pin and chip, had no probs using since its journey round the washing machine
-
My wallet gets washed all the time. The only thing that doesn't recover is any photos of the kids.
I blame my wife, she blames me.
A few weeks later it happens again!!
The human race is supposed to learn from its mistakes but I am the exception
-
Happened to me with my battery leccy razor. Don't ask how it got in there as I just do not know and I dont have a wife or kids either to blame.
Got it out and it works perfectly still 1 year on.

Tip Of The Day:
Dont weld indoors, i.e the utility room of a house is NOT a suitable welding arena! leaves you a bit, you know... (http://www.cartorque.co.uk/chat/images/smiles/119.gif)
TOTD 2:
When you have finished an oil change, take off you coat and boots before relaxing on the sofa..... SWMBO will NOT be a happy bunny (http://www.cartorque.co.uk/chat/images/smiles/icon_axe.gif)

And the "brilliant bluey whitness" is created by adding a dye to the detergent, such that if washed in it, abnk notes will glow under a U/V light just like a fake, even if they are real.
