Whoever designed this part of the the Td5 engine needs taking to a quite corner, and having seven kinds of stuff knocked out of him. You need to have double-jointed wrists and elbows to reach round the inlet manifold, and the arms and wrists of an anorexic flea to reach the fittings (and I'm neither double-jointed or a flea !)............other than that, it's an easy job and I'm no longer leaking diesel all over the place :D
Shame I found a coolant leak on the fuel cooler whilst I was doing this job............... :'(, guess that's a few more quid I need to hand over to the nice man at the parts place

I did mine the weekend before last and realised that I was trying to attach the filter to the bottom of the turbo housing after about 15 minutes. If I am going to keep the disco I need to learn levitation or grow another 3 feet in height
The fuel regulator took me nearly four hours to get off and 20 minutes to refit
BUT I still love my Disco

Having done it once, it would be easier the second time (but I won't be doing it again !) - it would also be easier with a really slim, long 10mm ratchet spanner.............and guess what I don't have in my tool kit :(
