Supposedly it is unreasonable to wash my plasma winch rope in the bath  [-X  she washes the dog in there though!

Beginners...

When I was a mere 17 I walked into our bathroom at home, bleary eyed, and what did I see in the bath??

Blood. Gallons of the stuff mixed with water. And floating in it .. a body.

Did I panic or what - it was only when I rubbed my eyes again to make reality come back that I was brave enough to look closer and discover it was a rather large (and skinned) deer .....

I thought Dad had done mum in!!!!

I've never forgiven him for that one

But then this is my parents. Mum wandered into the living room once with a machete in one hand and a partly skinned and bloody rabbit in the other and declared that we were sick for watching "Dawn of the Dead". I mean COME ON!?!

Thrasher... thats the sort of thing that puts people into therapy! :-.

I once walked into my dads kitchen, only to find him dismembering some ducks a friend had shot the day before.... first thing was the smeall, then the box of innards (the duck engine and fuel...) and two dogs sat beside drooling....

apparently its cruel to dry the ferret using centrifugal force (on a laminate floor) after bathing it in the toilet......

I wash my recovery gear in the bath.  Before she got ill the wife used to do it for me :D

Best thing is to leave it soaking with a Persil colour tablet ;)

Disco Mummy still owes me a couple of them :-.

washing things in the bath is no different to finding a huge bowl or using the kitchen sink!

it cleans up and its warm and dry! having said that Saffy will try and climb in the bath to drink the running water.. so it can get a bit wet!

Biological tablets don't like to be that hot, so the water in the hot tap is fine to start off with and it goes cold overnight anyway.

Provided you don't damge the enamel with a hook or shackle the bath comes up a shiney treat too :D

Don't see anything wrong with it myself - Dog/Tow rope... No difference, in fact we all like to get a bit muddy when we've had a good day off roading
