BBC N24 said it was 4.7 on the Richter scale, (though I heard that only reporters still use that) and it started near Hull.

I'm hoping Ulley reservoir survived intact after what happened last summer 8-[

Went to bed at 12 SWMBO said she would be up in a minute, she fell asleep downstairs, next thing I knew she was running around the house screaming that the lights were going on and off, and the house was shaking. The kids jumped out of bed, and the missus was physically shaking.I reasured her she was having a bad dream, though she swore it was real, I said go to sleep mad women :)
Anyway watched the news this morning,

Actually, natural Climate Change (but not that which is happening over the last 150 years that everyone agrees or disagrees with), IS the main cause of earthquakes in Northern Europe, due to Post-Glacial Rebound.

It takes many tens of thousands of years for the crust to return to the shape it had before an ice age.

Here's Wikipedia, but rely more on the reference links off that site.
