Post by: Range Rover Blues on February 29, 2008, 04:18:36: I'm wanting to put a turbine up in the future, I've sen a new design that looks like the engine from a passenger aircraft, it's all contained within a nacel making it quieter and safer, plus it's more efficient. Not comercially available yet though.

Bit of a coincidence someone was filming it?

Given all the vehicles on site I reckon that might have been a destructive test.

Yep thats what I was thinking!

Yep, most of thing have control to keep them at a constant speed whatever the wind and lets face what is the likelyhood of anyone being hit, it didn't even hit the van parked just below it
