i tried today to adjust my steering stops but they didnt wind out enough to stop my tyres hitting the radius arms as theres a few of you on here with wide tyres im just wondered what you did im guessing use longer bolts?

Use longer bolts, but make sure they are strong enough other wise they will bend!
I "reinforced" my bolts (when I was running 285/75s by putting nuts all down the shaft, but the last one will need to be filed down to fit as the body of the hub protrudes. Other option is of cources to fit wheel spacers and then carry on with standard one!

stick some 30mm spacers on, it helps with all sorts. you can get them for d1 now for 120/30 quid these days.

Got spacers on mine Kev!

i like the idea of spacers but as it is im sure the wheels will go up inside the arches but looking at it if i go out 30mm they will hit the arches although im only guessing
i will add it to my little list of things to check i wish i had my car at home as by the time i get to my car ive forgotten the things i want look at :'(

is your full lock the same as it was standard?
i think i might need more of a lift on mine to avoid the front wheels hitting the arches when i go over a bump the rear is hgh enough as for some reason its lifted nearly 4 1/2 inches on +2 springs which i dont think is right especially as i drove it across the yard tonight and hit a small ramp and im 99% sure the back wheels lifted of the ground and i wasnt going quick as i was in 1st!
i keep forgetting to measure the springs for my other thread

It seems near as dammit how it was before.
