It's 8.00 on the dot, it isn't even an EastEnders or Coronation Street day to be prompted by the theme music, and the dog has just started staring at me and grizzling. Why? Because it's her tea time. She keeps glancing across at the cupboard door as well, trying to drop hints.
Has anyone else's dog got an internal clock this accurate?
Better go feed her, I guess, before she starts singing for her supper (ie howling).

Our whippet is the same, come 6.00 in the evening she pesters us mercilessly till we feed her, the same for walkie time.
Mind you the clock change confuses her a bit

Willow has now duly been fed - she will be back in a minute to say thank you. She comes and stands in front of whoever put her food down (me or HWTHSBO), releases a dog-food-scented burp, then goes and makes herself comfortable.
Yes, she mithers for walkie-time as well - big style, being a Springer Spaniel.

9pm on the dot my dog starts walking up to the bathroom door to tell my misses its time for her bath.

Does she smell that bad then
Only kidding. In laws had a collie who used to sing whenever Coronation street or Eastenders came on. Wouldn't mind having a dog but as we are out all day it wouldn't be fair to leave them on their own

 :lol:This is an interesting topic....I thought that I had the only dog that could tell the time....he certainly let's us know when it's time for walkies or food..

my dog also knows walkies time and bed time.
if you are late for either she starts barking at you untill you get the message.

As said by someone before, I thought our 2 were unique but it seems dogs are more intelligent than you think :-k 6.30 every night its pacing up and down and scratching at their food cupboard :)

Ok so my dogs know the time, their dinnertime and my bed time. But how do they know about daylight saving for heaven's sake

If i say BATH to my dog she runs off and hides some where yet she will jump in a smelly dike when going for a walk.
