Title: A GENERATION of hardship
Post by: Jas278 on March 09, 2008, 10:49:58
The good ship Blighty is rocking , We need to get rid of the workshy , scrap benefits in cash and give vouchers (to them that need it) . Discipline back in SCHOOLS , and the Police more common sense and less paperwork ....A few may suffer but it will stop the sinking ship..

I guess we can wish that, but it will never happen. The voucher idea is superb.

There are too many people on benefits and it would be political suicide.

Its a shame because there are so many out there who could work but play the system.

I agree but how do we make the government listen there are lots of unhappy people in the UK but we have no voice, the college boys run things.

the college boys run things.

And started by making it harder for anyone else to get an education.  I have a pupil at the moment who wants to do a degree in events management for crying out loud, is that a degree from the university of disney or what! (think big ears, squeeky voice ;))

If the country needs 50% of schoolleavers to have a degree then it should pay for them, but I bleieve it's just a trick to get them off the dole and saddled with debt at a very early age, meanwhile all these new jobs that are being created are not in manufacturing but in call centres
"sorry to hear you cheap imported Polish fridge freezer is broken, sorry but not surprised......"
