Having a bit of a debit about range rover bodies are they mainly steel or alloy?
-
chassi, sills inner skin, floor, bulk head and the likes all steel, outer skin bar rear corners and tails gates alli.
-
Doesn't it depend on which model of Rangie it is?
-
Roof is alloy, bonnet is steel, door skins are alloy, front and rear wings alloy but as said not the rear corners or the tailgate.
-
The rear floor on my 1990 classic is alloy, I think they changeed to steel shortly after
-
Lot less steel in the new L322 ;-) Even the doors are totally ally

True, I think when they introduced the fuel pump access hatch on the concealed hinge body.
-
early rrcs had ally bonnet as well

Very few, mostly with the word VELAR on the bonnets, they cracked and had to be replaced my steel bonnets.
