Economy is not increased, many a true word spoken in error.

All it's doing is conning the ECU into cold starting, it's snake oil.  It will run rich, bore wash and wear out, it will drink more fuel too.  The only reason an engine goes better when cold is that cold air is denser.

Made I larf though :lol:

Sounds like the automotive placebo effect to me - I bet if you did a study involving two cars that were identical in everything apart from exhaust note (same bhp/torque, just one is noisier) you'd get a large percentage of participants claiming that the noisy one was faster!  :lol:
