Title: Relays
Post by: clover on March 18, 2008, 18:38:57
Hi

I have two relays on the drivers side inner flanch of my 200TDi disco.

What do they do?

Only from the looks of things they have a + feed wire on each one that go into a 2into1 connector. I believe this connector was once connected direct to the + on the battery (its not anymore since the connector corroded away!).

Is this correct and is it a problem that they are not getting a + feed off the battery anymore?

Cheers

John

Hi

It has at some stage had an after market alarm and immobilizer fitted (now disconnected thankfully!). Could this be what they are for?

Cheers
