Title: Shock towers, options?
Post by: Niel on March 21, 2008, 22:38:15
110 busted a shock (rot then fracture), the towers are on their way out, considering galvy tubular types, opinions/recommendations?

I've a lowered pair here I don't want.

Otherwise Paddocks are cheap, that's what I have on mine, or just fit LR style shock towers, they keep more mud out of the engine bay ;)

On the 110 it has full inner wings so mud splash isn't an issue, except it causes more to be trapped on the towers.

Lowered pair, by how much, and how much £ ?

S does the RRC, but I meant mud goes through the shock tower.

They are 8" tall, not sure how big standard ones are as it's dark outside.
