Hey bobtail.

If you go out and want someone to go with I am only in Woodford Halse. Loads of lanes I am sure people will skid off into ditches to rescue!

How deep is it there Looks about an inch and getting heavier everytime I look out the window.

Fingers crossed it stays like it as then all I have to do is prove I can get into work tomorrow then get set home as too dangerous. Guys at work have said that if it snows there will be no chance of me getting into work. Pah!

so they dont know what a 4x4 can do then

They dont belive I will make it through the snow even with a 4x4. Even if I have to hand winch myself up every hill I wil get into work to prove a point!!! Anyway, I reckon only 1/2mile of my 12 mile journey wont be gritted, unless I go the back roads then 11miles wont be gritted.

We've got what might be described as a heavy sprinkling of the stuff here. It'll have melted by this evening.

Annoying part is that I need to sort out a whining alternator after one of the deeper fords on Strata Florida, so no playing in the snow until I've found the oilcan and managed to get some lubricant into the bearings (it's definitely that - WD40 shut it up for about 30 seconds so something with better lubricant qualities should fix it).

Too be honest Patrick it wasn't too bad when I went down there about 10. Drive all but 1 section from Harmston to the A17.

Although it was really slippery (well on my MTs)..Only 1 other vehicle had been down there before me.

still watching it melt off here in sunny Sprowston. The Hoi Polloi at the Manor are moaning cos they can't tee off. Seems to keep shoving a layer down at night and booby trapping the corners on the way to Wroxham.
