Title: 300tdi abs pump running all the time !! help

Hi guys hope someone may be able to help , we bought our 94 ES a feww weeks ago and has been fine until today ,the ABS warning light failed to go out and there was a noticable buzzing from undder the bonnet even with the ignition switched off ,i checked and the ABS pump was permenantly running ,i have disconnected the plug coupler to stop it as it was getting quite hot . any ideas , and can i still drive it ???

Not with the pump disconnected :shock: but you 'can' with it connected if the brakes work, I wouln't though.

ABS pump pressure switch is fubar, green anodised thing with 3 wires IIRC, the ABS light won't go out until it reaches pressure.

thanks ,sorry havnt replied earlier but had computer probs !!! typical when you need them most they fail , bit like Discos really , Any way left it over night and plugged it all back in next day and all seems to be working ok now , oh except for the lights seems i only have side lights and no dip or main , a relay is chattering under the dash when on side light but goes of when on main blue dash light comes on but no lights ??????? getting very frustrating . im going to do the earths to see if that helps as all the fuses seem ok
