Title: major part failure
Post by: J B on March 29, 2008, 18:16:31: will driving along in the disco today i spotted my LRS tangling from the sun visor, apperently non-functioning :'(

now, i will have to replace the LRS but as this is the first one ive done, can anyone advise me on the part number and correct installation procedure
ive looked it up in the haynes book, but i think they must have forgotten to cover the issue, perhaps believing that the LRS would last the life of the car :huh:

now i'm gonna have to get a genuine parts LRS as i want to replace like for like and not some copy knocked up in china

any help in this matter would be appreciated, i'll post a pic of the old LRS soon :'( :'(

poor sod, you obviously havent had enough cack on your boots (thus attracting flies) for him to eat!

i`m sure mine was humping the devil duck a few days ago... very strange!

i would wait a few days, as from my observations of this mysterious piece of equiptment, they breed under the bonnet, and then set out on pilgrimage to the interior, where they choose their throne, usually corner of screen, or wing mirror, possibly dependant on their sexual orientation. WMS dont tend to hang about long unfortunatley... perticularly after motorway excursions....

perhaps i should contact david bellemy to investigate, he may get to like landrovers afterall!

I've not seen any onboard spiders for a while in fact. I think the recent cold snap may have been too much for them!
