No problem ;)

as long as  there's a bar at the top :D

Reminds me of the path around the caldera wall in Santorini

Of course....*

It looks like a 'Klettersteig' route, one that was built/laid to enable German alpine troops to move around the mountains safely whilst carrying their kit.  The guy that you see unclipping from the wire is doing as the troops would have done,

Klettersteig has become a popular sport now, particularly in Bavaria where there are loads of actual wartime routes still in use, aswel as quite a few 'sports' routes that are cropping up.

It can be incredibly hard work, I would say that route was quite easy, I have done a few where I climbed vertical faces, much like rock climbing, and some parts where the only way to progress was to hang from the wire and swing like a monkey to the next ledge.

All of which reminds me that I meant to find out where I can do it here in the UK, apparently there is only the one place, in wales somewhere, tha has sports routes.

Basically, its a cross between hill walking/mountaineering and rock climbing.

*I would of course be clipped onto the wire rope where it was available and not walking quite so quickly.

That sound gentlemen, is the noise of my a*** gripping the seat :pale:

I do not do heights.

I like how our 'guide' overtakes the more sedate pedestrians on his power walk round the path, nutter.

Some one should get on to the council about the state of that path way...

In a word... no... I wouldn't want to do it not one bit.

Gives me the willies just watching the video!!!! Yet I happily sit in an open glider at 1200 feet with only 3/4 inch of ply at chest height beside me.
