OK, spent a good half hour with the mechano kit that came from John Craddocks this afternoon, and now have a half roof rack in the middle of the new extension...yes it will go through the door to the outside in case you were thinking along the same lines as I was after completing the effort. I like a good puzzle.
Now, when I get it outside, and offer it up to the Disco roof, will it just drop in the gutters neatly, or will I have a frustrating time tomorrow? Apart from having to move one of the VHF/UHF gutter mounts I've got my fingers crossed.
I can think of a few improvements to the design already, but it was only £122.
Now, the rear ladder (surprisingly lightweight BTW)...
No fixing bolts came with it, no instructions, that'll be interesting!

Make sure you put both of the legs from one side in first then you can press the other side in.
The ladder should have 2 holes in it at the bottom, you will need to drill 2 corresponding holes in the door and put a couple if Riv-nuts in, the top of the ladder, if is a 'hook' type ladder, then a small strip of rubber where it hooks over will protect the door from scratches.

not surprising for Craddocks.
i had the same sort of thing only they forgot to take out the old delivery note from the pervious customer

Haha, wireless, you need to give them a call and tell them you have no fittings for the rear ladder.

Not had a chance to offer the roof rack up the vehicle as yet, I'll post the result.
The modifications will be electrical, the extensive use of rubber washers in the design will mean that I need to bond the individual parts of it, and the roof rack to the car, if I want to mount antennas on it; including four just for the Doppler Radar System I'm building.
Made contact with JC requesting fitting instructions AND fixings for the Access Ladder, I'll post the result of that too!
